When I remove WinFi (p.e. 1.0.10.3) I get a message all is removed.
However, when I reinstall an earlier version (p.e. 1.0.7.0) WinFi does not start.
I have to manually remove WinFi folder in %localappdata% and then reinstall.
Revert to earlier release
Re: Revert to earlier release
downgrading to an older version wont be supported
Re: Revert to earlier release
It is not so much that downgrading is not supported.
But when I remove an app (any app) with the propper uninstall procedure and that procedure gives me a message that a program is fully removed, I should be able to trust that and expect that all will be removed.
An option that I see offen is that the uninstallation procedure asks me if I want to leave (settings and or log) files behind.
I found a way around this, but it took me some time to figure out.
